Events

Volunteers are invited to join a community planting session at Roley Pools in Roleystone on Sunday 2 August.

Coordinated by the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group (AGLG) and supported by the City of Armadale.

Volunteers will plant more than 3,000 local native seedlings as part of National Tree Day activities taking place throughout Australia.

The planting session will include a free morning tea and lunch for hungry volunteers.

National Tree Day volunteers are advised to wear boots and gloves and to bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and rain jacket, according to the day's weather conditions.

Meet at Roley Pools at the bottom of the stairs off Collins Rd, Roleystone for a 9am start.
Planting will finish at midday, or when all the seedlings are in the ground.

Seedlings are provided by the Swan River Trust's Riverbank program.
