Native Seed Collecting Course

Hands on seed collection - Collect seed from a seed orchard (see the results of broadcast seeding), collect seed from bushland (see the natural process of regeneration)

Date: Saturday 28th November
Time: 9:00am - 12:30pm (includes morning tea)
Location: Joanna Seabrook Seed Orchard, Ryecroft Rd, Glen Forrest (SuperBlock)

Broadcast seeding is an excellent way to enhance the recovery of degraded bushland and will complement any existing plantings and weed control regimes. Come along and join in on an introduction to native plant seed collecting that will assist those who are currently involved in natural area management.
