Workshop: Birding For Beginners

Birds Australia Western Australia, in conjunction with the City of Armadale Bushcare and Environmental Working Group, is conducting a workshop to introduce the elements of birding. This will be held at Kelmscott Hall in River Rd (opp. Rushton Park) on the weekend of the 15th and 16th May from 09:00 to 12:30 each day.

The Saturday session involves three presentations:

1. The Wonder of Birds
2. Birding For Beginners
3. Birds and their calls

 This includes a discussion about binoculars and field guides.

The Sunday session is a presentation about the common birds of the area, followed by a bird walk led by members of Birds Australia. Binoculars are provided.

The cost for each day is $10. Payment may be made prior to the weekend (at the Floreat office) or on the day at Kelmscott Hall.
