Hi everyone,
Our next field day will be in the Midgegoroo National Park (formerly known as Canning Regional Park) on Sunday 18th October 2009.We will be treating the bushland in the Park up near the Araluen Golf Club. The Park is managed by Dept of Environment and Conservation but they don't have the resources to do the Dieback Treatment needed so volunteers are needed.
This should be a beautiful place to work. Newcomers are very welcome.
Come and learn how to treat your bushland. If you help us for the morning, you will be able to borrow some equipment from Roleybushcare to use on your own property.Meeting Place: Go to the following link for a map http://www.roleybushcare.com/bush-reserves/58-canning-national-park.html
Turn off the Brookton Hwy into Croyden Rd, right turn into Heritage Drive, travel almost to the end of Heritage Drive (almost to Forrestedge Rd). We will meet in Heritage Drive opposite house No. 180. There will be a sign on Heritage Drive indicting where the trailer will be. The meeting place is before the round-a-bout to the Country Club Restaurant.
We will start at 9.00am and work until noon.Morning tea provided.
Cheers from Diane HorganVolunteer Coordinator for Roleybushcare
