Hi everyone,
Our next field day will be in the Eskdale Reserve on Sunday 12th July 2009.
Note: Roleybushcare's article in the Valley Reporter stated 19th July-this is incorrect.
Meet in Eskdale Street. Go to following link for map http://www.roleybushcare.com/bush-reserves/35-eskdale-reserve.htmlWe will start at 9.00am and work until noon. This is a revegetation field day so many hands to plant the seedlings will be very welcome.Morning tea will be provided by the lovely Yvonne Ward again.
The Dieback Working Group is a finalist for the Land and Biodiversity Award given by the Banksia Environmental Foundation. Ian will be off to the Eastern States to attend the presentation ceremony.
Roleybushcare will be holding an Art Exhibition in early November. This is our latest promotion to highlight our lovely Reserves, to hopefully entice more people to become volunteers and to encourage our community to educate themselves about our local environment by using our great website. A committee has been formed with a group of local artists. More news will be coming soon.
The AGM was held last month. The new committee is:
